Data Deletion Policy

This policy describes how you can request deletion of your personal data and connected social media account data from Aovyx Studio.
Your Right to Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and the personal data we have collected about you. We honor deletion requests within 30 days, subject to limited exceptions described below.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1: Self-Service (Preferred)
- Sign in to your account at https://aovyxstudio.com
- Go to Settings → Account
- Click Delete My Account
- Confirm by entering your email
- Your account will be marked for deletion immediately, and all associated data will be deleted within 30 days
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email from your registered email address to: marc@aovyxstudio.com
Subject line: Data Deletion Request
Include in the body:
- Your account email address
- Confirmation that you want your data permanently deleted
We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
Option 3: Disconnecting a Specific Social Media Account
If you want to revoke our access to a specific Facebook, Instagram, or other connected social media account without deleting your entire Aovyx Studio account:
- Sign in to Aovyx Studio
- Go to Accounts
- Click Disconnect next to the account you want to revoke
- Our access tokens for that account will be deleted within 30 days
You can also revoke our access directly from the platform:
- Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find "Aovyx Studio" → Remove
- Instagram: Account managed through the connected Facebook business account; remove via Facebook as above
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we delete:
- Your account profile, email, and authentication credentials
- All connected social media OAuth tokens
- All content you uploaded (images, videos)
- All AI-generated drafts and your edits to them
- Your brand profile, voice configuration, and learned preferences
- Your publish history within Aovyx Studio
- Usage logs and analytics tied to your account
What Does Not Get Deleted
The following are not deleted by this process:
- Content already published to your social media platforms. Posts you previously published to Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms remain on those platforms. You must delete them on each platform directly if desired.
- Anonymized aggregate data. Statistics that have been de-identified and cannot be linked back to you (e.g., total post counts across all users) may be retained.
- Records required by law. We may retain limited records required for legal compliance, accounting, or dispute resolution. Retention is limited to what is legally necessary.
- Encrypted backups. Data may persist in encrypted backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion, after which it is automatically purged.
Meta Platform Data Deletion Callback
For users connecting through Facebook or Instagram, Meta requires us to support a data deletion callback. If you initiate data deletion through Facebook's settings:
- Facebook will send a data deletion request to our endpoint
- We will queue your data for deletion within 30 days
- Facebook will provide you with a confirmation code and a status URL where you can check progress

Confirmation
Once deletion is complete, we will send a confirmation email to your registered address (unless you have also deleted your email contact information).
